Sasaran is proud to be a partner to an independent publishing and media business with brands for creating high-quality books, magazines, websites, and content across platforms along with a wine-tasting business for reviews and ratings. Our client was looking to upgrade the Sitecore version from 7.2 to 10.2 to leverage the new features, functionality, and power of the latest version. We took up the challenge and our approach towards the project was to ensure a smooth transition from the existing version to the new version 10.2.

Challenges Faced

The main challenge faced was to migrate the existing content and functionality into the new version, as the new version had a newer architecture compared to the existing version. We had to ensure that the content and functionality were completely migrated into the new version with no issues. We also had to be sure that the client’s current business processes were not affected.

Our Approach

To ensure a smooth transition, we developed a detailed plan and executed it in successive phases. We first tested the new version 10.2 on a staging environment, to make sure that the environment was stable and compatible with the new version. We then proceeded with the migration to the new version. We also made sure that the content and functionality were correctly migrated into the new version.
